Andrea Harrison, by June 24, so that the JGER committee of Seaway Valley Presbytery can co-ordinate a balanced attendance by Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal participants, and inclusion of youth (if possible).

The congregation of St. James United Church, Avonmore are hosting their Harvest Turkey Supper (turkey with all the trimmings and homemade pies) on Wednesday, September 15, at North Stormont Place, Avonmore, from 4:30 - 7:00pm. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for children 6-12 and free for children under 5 years of age. Tickets are available at Barkley’s Store, Scotiabank Avonmore or by calling Myrtle at 613-346-2211, Nancy at 613-346-5493 or Rev. Lois at 613-346-1648. Only 200 advance tickets available – everyone welcome.

Give yourself the gift of ME FIRST time at Betty and Jim Healey's, 22119 Beauchamp Drive Lancaster Heights. The walk will be held shortly after 5:00 pm followed by a Pot luck. Weather permitting we will have a bonfire and/or a drumming circle. Sit for a while to catch up with old friends or make new ones! Contributions to the Pot Luck / refreshments are welcomed.
