Where: Queen’s Theological College, Queen's University, Kingston, ON
The course is designed with the congregational youth volunteer/staff person in mind as well as MDiv students. How do we make 'church' worth their time? This is a question that will be addressed through a wholistic approach by exploring the needs of North American youth in a post-modern global context.
Students will examine a variety of ways of assessing the spiritual and religious needs of youth; how youth programs in faith communities can contribute to the resiliency of youth; and begin to determine how to weave youth into the fabric of their own religious community.
All persons interested in ministering to youth as they seek answers to their questions about life and faith are invited to attend.
