Would you like to help make our annual supper a success?
There are many ways that you can help make our annual Turkey supper a success:
TURKEYS: For those cooking a turkey, it will be delivered to your home on Wednesday October 30th.
TURNIPS: Iris will be bringing turnips to Church on Sunday, October 27th which you are welcome to take them home with you. Thank you to Iris and her brother-in-law for this generous donation!
PIES: Anyone who wishes to purchase homemade pies (any kind for $12.00), rather than bake them yourself, please contact Jim Fourney at 613-363-2692.
BAKE TABLE: Homemade candy, rolls, fruit loaves and cookies are all popular. Packages of 6 cookies and small quantities of squares tend to sell very well.
PREPARATION: We will be setting the tables and preparing Irvine Hall for the supper at 7 pm on Wednesday, October 30th. Extra hands are always welcome!
SERVING: Anyone wishing to help serve at the supper is asked to contact Cathy McKay by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 613-347-3520. If a student needs volunteer hours, this would be a great place to be.
DISH WASHING & CLEAN UP: Anyone wanting to help wash dishes and help with the clean-up after the supper should call Bruce Overbury at 613-347-3638 or Pat Larkin at 613-347-2491.
We look forward to seeing you all at our annual Turkey Supper!
